Hilda Baci became the new record holder for the longest cooking by an individual after Guinness World Records announced it on Tuesday.

The statement on the website of Guinness World Records said, "Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes."

The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began her four-day kitchen stint on Thursday, May 11 and ended on Monday, May 15, cooking almost 100 pots of meals.

Hilda attempted to break the 100-hour mark, but nearly seven hours were removed from her final total because she took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early in the endeavor.
