The soon-to-be former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has responded to those criticizing him because he sold some government properties, like plots, market premises, school premises, et cetera.

The governor said that the sale of government property is not a strange thing in the administration of the government.

Ganduje disclosed this on Thursday evening this week when he was inaugurating the new building of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Kano State, where his government building is near the Ministry of Transport.

He added that the Federal Government and the former governor of Kano State (2011–2015), Engr. Dr. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, sold government houses to politicians and other people.

The governor also requested the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Kano to use the newly launched offices and take care of them properly.
