Justice Dije Abdu Aboki, the chief judge of Kano magistrate, presided over the swearing in of Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf as the new governor of Kano State.
The new governor was sworn in today, Monday, May 29, at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofar Mata.
His deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, was also sworn in.
The inauguration was attended by hundreds of thousands of supporters of the NNPP (Kwankwasiyya Amana), who wore white clothes and red hats.
While women supporters wear their preferred clothes and red hijabs.
Also, the swearing-in event was attended by dignitaries from many sectors; however, other dignitaries attended the inauguration.
